Description: REPRODUCTION pair of WW 2 US Army & Army Air Force Rank Chevrons (Khaki). First introduced in 1936 for khaki uniforms. Khaki chevrons were designed to be used on all Khaki shirts, service jackets, etc. Phased in and lasted throughout the war and into the postwar years. Officially replaced by the "Silver Gray" on dark blue chevrons.Khaki uniforms were only worn in Asiatic/Pacific Theater, not Europe ETO.Worn on both Male and Female Khaki uniforms.
