Covers and spine have age-related toning and wear that has caused some discoloration, bending, and tearing along the edges. Front cover board and the first few pages are entirely detached at the bottom half. Pages have age-related toning and foxing. Hinges are worn, and while pages remain attached, the support is not even throughout. Illustrations have some toning and foxing, but are otherwise in good condition and clear to see. Edges of pages have toning and discoloration. Please see photographs and ask any questions prior to purchasing. An interesting, in-depth illustrated history of San Francisco to its first discovery through the middle of the nineteenth century, compiled primarily by newspapers and information from local citizens of the city. It was considered to be one of the most important works on the city at the time.
