Description: This is a map of East Amwell and comes from an 1873 atlas of Hunterdon County New Jersey and is by F.W. Beers, Published by Beers, Comstock & Cline. The hand colored portions show the various districts. The towns and villages on the map are: New Market - Snydertown - Rocktown - Ringoes - Pleasant Corner - Buttonweood Corners - Vanlien's Corners and Reaville along with an inset showing Wertsville. The map is very detailed and shows the property owners, buildings and businesses, roads and railroads and waterways. This map is in relatively good condition with some roughness along the top edge along with two small holes. Measures 13" x 15 1/2". Please see the photos for details. A really nice antique 19th century map of this area.
