Description: 19 Century German Cast Iron Bronze Charger Plate Ilsenburg Art Foundry READ! First off I'm not sure of the material. I thought it was cast iron at first but it's possibly bronze. A magnet does stick to the item though. I did a good bit of research trying to find what these plates are and where they are from. The first plate. The one with the HH going around the outside and the stamp on the back is the only one of the two I could find anything on. I am assuming both of these plates were made at the same place. The style just seems way too similar to have been made somewhere else but I am not guaranteeing it. Here was the information on the first plate that I was able to find on the first plate.
