Description: 1905-1906-1907 INDIAN CENT TRIO #O GOOD OR BETTER CONDITION Then Chief Mint Engraver James B. Longacre executed the designs for the Indian cent. While the obverse design of a Native American seemingly wearing a ‘war bonnet’ remained in production from 1859 to early 1909 - various minor changes on the reverse and metallic composition occurred over the coins’ fifty year life span. The later 1864 thru 1909 issues bear an oak wreath and shield on the reverse. Imagine the stories these old coins could tell … if they could talk -- and who may have once held them … perhaps one of your own ancestors?!! The three examples offered here are dated 1905, 1906 and 1907. In my opinion - all three coins are in Good or slightly better condition. However, you should view the photos closely, compare my coin against others on Ebay, and then form your own opinion as to grade and value! Please note that I scan my photos and that the occasional white/gray speck/fleck on or near the pictured coins was on my scanner bed and not a defect on the actual coin. I do my best to point out actual defects that go beyond normal circulation - but these old eyes don’t see everything.
