Description: Here we have an interesting piece of military and numismatic history: Occupied Philippines five peso note. Printed by the Japanese during their occupation of the Philippines during World War II. Nice overall condition. Using Littleton Coins standards, I'll rate this at VF. Found among my Grandfather's effects, and he was all over the Pacific with the Army Air Corps before and after WWII, so I'm going to have to assume he acquired it during that time period. In my family for 70 years and ready to take a place in your collection. The photos are of the very note you are bidding on, not "similar" items. I do not accept returns, but I will gladly provide further photos or information about these pieces until you are comfortable. If you do have any concern with a purchase from me, please contact me.
