Description: This 1949 Boston Braves roster was released for spring training on February 5, 1949. It is in remarkably fine condition. It has no markings, stains or tears. It has been folded to approximately 6" x 2-3/4", so it has creases when opened up. The roster contains information and statistics on 38 players, including famous players Johnny Antonelli, Johnny Sain, Warren Spahn, Alvin Dark, Eddie Stankey, Earl Torgeson, and Don Thompson. This is a very rare find and I doubt if very many have survived all these years, especially in such near-mint condition. It will be a great item to frame and display.
