Description: This is an great example of the flagship Martin dreadnought guitar the D-28. Made during the ‘Goldilocks’ years where the guitar design remained consistent from the late 40s to the early 60s and are still affordable compared to the prewar versions, this beauty has a great tone and the necessary maintenance has been done to ensure great playability including a recent neck reset, re-fretting, a replaced bridge and smaller maple bridge plate, some loose braces were glued as well as 3 top cracks and all work was done by Brother’s guitar repair with a clean bill of health from them and guru Dave Musselwhite. Everything else is original and unaltered. There is moderate to heavy playwear including pick marks, capo marks, etc and comes with OHSC.
