Description: 1966 NMM Roosevelt Dime Error Coin No mint mark Condition is fair with normal wear and tear. Some may say it's, age appropriate. Still has some fine detailing, but nothing truly noteworthy This coin's charm is found in its errors. To start us off is; A doubled die error on both the obverse and reverse. Although they are not super strong, they are easily seen under a microscope The next errors we can add to our roster; a rather large die chip found under Roosevelt's eye. In addition, the nose also appears to have something that's not quite right going on. Another, smaller, die chip can be found between the first and second leaves of the lower most flower on the immediate left side of the torch And finally, we may possibly have a striking or die error. In the phrase; E Pluribus Unum, the letters; Plu and the last m in Unum are worn in what looks like a conditional result of normal wear and tear, while the letters us and Unu appear to be a bad strike - lettering is nearly gone, yet torch and stem of flower (Right of torch) are in tact. Both the torch and flower where these letters are located stand above that of the letters. I may be wrong in my assessment, but take a good look at the Roosevelt dime's reverse design - then tell me if it is possible to have that type of wear pattern. If there is an answer, please explain it to me and I'll stand corrected and take 25.00 off our already low sales price. After all, it is a RARE 1966 NMM Roosevelt Dime This coin has enough charm to make you look once, twice, and SOLD!
