Its turret rotates 360 degrees, and cannon elevates. .50 caliber Browning machine gun included. M10 Wolverine Tank Destroyer measurements are 4 3/4" Long (6" including barrel) x 2 1/2" Wide x 2 1/4" High. It is painted with army green in color. Model is made in France.M10 was an American tank destroyer of World War II mounted a 3-inch (76.2 mm) anti-aircraft gun M3 in a rotating turret on a modified M4 Sherman tank (M4A2 production variant) chassis. Secondary armament .50 caliber Browning machine gun. It combined thin but sloped armor with M4's reliable drivetrain and a reasonably potent anti-tank gun mounted in an open-topped turret. An alternate model, M10A1, which used M4A3 variant chassis, also was produced. It had a crew of 5 (commander, gunner, loader, driver, assistant driver). Production of two models ran from September 1942 to December 1943 and October 1942 to November 1943, respectively and 6,406 were built. M10 was numerically most important U.S. tank destroyer of World War II. M10 remained in service until end of war. During World War II, primary user of M10 tank destroyer was United States, but many were Lend-Leased to United Kingdom, Canada and Free French forces. Several dozen were sent to Soviet Union.Second vehicle is a Vintage 1984 Solido 40th Anniversary D-Day, Solido U.S. Army M-20 Combat Car, Die-cast Metal, 1:50, Mint Condition, NIB"). U.S. Military M-20 Combat Car is die-cast metal, except for plastic tires and antennas. M-20 Combat Cars has two attached antennas and a .50-caliber machine gun. Model is made in France. M-20 Combat Car was a derivative of M-8 Greyhound series. Chief difference between two armored cars was absence of a turret with a 37 mm cannon, which allowed M-20 to feature benches and specialized radio equipment for use as an artillery spotter, reconnaissance vehicle, or personnel carrier. It could speed up to 55 miles per hour. For defensive armament, also vehicle had a 12.7 mm browning machine gun along with any infantry weapons that soldiers on board would have carried. M-20 was developed in 1943 because of US Army's need for a mobile vehicle that could serve as an anti-aircraft role if necessary and haul cargo. In total, around 3,680 M-20s were built by end of WWII. Third vehicle is a Vintage 1984 Solido 40th Anniversary D-Day, Solido Tigre (Tiger) Mark I Tank, 1:50, Die-cast Metal, Mint Condition, NIB. Tiger Mark I Tank is a heavy die-cast metal vehicle weighing by itself 17 ounces, with plastic wheels and 2 chain silver metal tank trends. Its turret rotates 360 degrees, and cannon elevates. Tank dimensions are 5" Long x 3" Wide x 2 1/2" High. Solido Tigre Tank has 1 radio antenna. It is painted with army green in color. Model is made in France.Tiger I (Tiger) was a German Heavy Tank of World War II that operated beginning in 1942 in Soviet Union, usually in independent heavy tank battalion. It gave German Army its first armored fighting vehicle that mounted 88 mm cannon (derived from 88 mm Flak KwK 36, famous "eighty-eight" feared by Allied troops). Secondary armament was 2 MG 34 machine guns. It weighed 54 tons and had 4.72 in of front armor. It had a crew of 5 (commander, gunner, loader, driver & radio operator). While Tiger I was an outstanding design for its time, it was over-engineering, using expensive materials and labor-intensive production methods. In early period, Tiger was prone to certain types of track failures and breakdowns. It was expensive to maintain, but generally mechanically reliable. It was difficult to transport and vulnerable to immobilization when mud, ice, and snow froze between its overlapping and interleaved-pattern road wheels, often jamming them solid. This was a problem on Eastern Front in muddy season and during periods of extreme cold. 1,347 were built between August 1942 and August 1944. After August 1944, production of Tiger I was phased out in favor of Tiger II. Fourth vehicle is for a Vintage 1984 Solido 40th Anniversary D-Day, Solido U.S. Army M3 Half Track Troop Carrier w/Tarp, 1:50, Die-cast Metal,-Mint Condition, NIB. Solido M3 half-track model has a plastic canvas tarp covering seats for carrying troops. Plastic Canvas Tarp covered is detachable. Tarp (short for tarpaulin) is a large piece of waterproof canvas used to cover troops to keep them dry. Solido model has an extended front bumper with towing cable. Solido model M3 halftrack truck is 5 1/8" Long x 1 5/8" Wide x 2" High. Model is made in France. M3 Halftrack was introduced in 1941, reliable halftrack could carry 12 fully equipped troops at speeds approaching 45 mph, whilst providing protection from small arms fire. It was said that wherever American troops went, so did their trusty M3 Halftracks. M3 halftrack was an American armored personnel carrier halftrack widely used by the Allies during World War II and in the Cold War. M3 half-track was extensively produced, with about 15,000 standard M3s and more than 38,000 variant units manufactured. M3 was extensively modified with several dozen variant designs produced for different purposes. During World War II, the M3 and its variants were supplied to the U.S. Army and Marines, as well as British Commonwealth and Soviet Red Army forces, serving on all major fronts throughout the war. M3 and its variants were produced by many manufacturers including Diamond T, White Motor Company, and Autocar. They were adapted for a wide variety of uses, such as a self-propelled anti-aircraft and self-propelled artillery.Solido tanks and military vehicles are aptly named, as they are truly “solid” with very heavy die-cast metal bodies. They are quite detailed, and the quality is fabulous! Please note that typically, Solido tanks and armored fighting vehicles are made in a 1:50 scale while the support vehicles, which include the jeeps and staff cars, are produced on a slightly larger 1:43 scale. Also, Solido military and firefighting models are built so well that over 55 years later they are as good as they were when they were built and first sold. Truly this is quite remarkable! Solido die-cast models require no gluing or painting. Each model is an instant display piece or diorama centerpiece straight from box. Made from die-cast metal, die-cast military vehicles from Solido are 100% true to scale! Solido military tanks have following features.· Heavy die-cast metal construction that has with some plastic components (e.g., antennas).· Rotating turret, elevating cannon, & ac curate hull in die-cast metal.· Accurate moving metal tracks on detailed rotating wheels.· Realistic panel lines, access panels, and surface details located at hull. · Pad printed markings and placards will not fade or peel like decals.================================================================================================================ Be sure to read the item description and ask questions before committing to a purchase.
