It was acquired in December 2022 from the "selling dealer" (photo before customizations included in listing), who purchased from the original owner’s family. The truck is finished in two-tone Oxford White and Bright Red over Ruby Red cloth upholstery and is powered by a 7.5-liter V8 mated to a four-speed automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and a limited-slip differential. There are no known issues on this truck - it runs like a charm, everything functions well, the exterior paint and interior cloth are like new and it is in incredible condition (due to being kept in heated storage most of it's life). The original owner took delivery in late 1997 at Robberson Ford Sales of Bend, Oregon. The original owner’s son explained that his father purchased this late 1997 model truck as he favored the earlier, more classic looking design of the 92-97 truck opposed to the updated 1998 Super Duty that was hitting showroom floors. The original owner purchased the truck for the purpose of pulling a new 5th wheel camper that he had purchased almost simultaneously.The truck was fitted with the 5th wheel rails and wiring after its original purchase and was used to haul the 5th wheel trailer throughout the summer of 1998. The original owner decided he preferred an RV over the 5th wheel camper and sold the camper after just one season of use, but decided to keep the truck.The truck logged the majority of its mileage by 2005, after which point the original owner retired back to the Spokane, Washington area. The truck has only seen approximately 17,000 miles of driving in the last 19 years.In early 2016, the original owner’s son inherited the truck after his father’s passing.
