To find what firmware you have Go to your bluetooth connections and delete/forget your current bluetooth connection and turn off bluetooth.Download the Jabra Sound app if you do not have it installed. Put your good headphone in the case. Press and hold the touchpad until the led flashes purple. Remove the good headphone from the case. If you still have your other faulty headphone leave it in the case. Close the charge case. If the headphones led does not flash blue for pairing mode press and hold the touchpad until the headphone turns off(led will will flash red). Then press and hold the touchpad until the led turns green and then blue. If it does not turn blue within 20 seconds let go, wait 5 seconds and press and hold again. When the led is flashing blue turn on bluetooth and connect. Open the Jabra Sound app and press the (i) on the bottom right corner of the screen.Press "Jabra Support" (press "Later" if it prompts to update the firmware), then press "Jabra Elite 7 Active". See the third picture in the pictures of this listing to find what firmware is installed. If you do not have the same firmware as any headphone I have in the menu unfortunately you can not pair a replacement headphone for your set. Also there is no way to update just one headphone unfortunately, you need both headphones to do the update.To pair the replacement headphone with your current headphone Fully charge the case and headphones. Go to your bluetooth connections and delete/forget the bluetooth connection and turn off bluetooth.Put both headphones in the case and then close and open the door.With the door open press and hold both touchpads until both headphones or just one headphone led flashes purple. Close the case and wait a few minutes. If the case led flashes wait until it finishes flashing, this can take up to 30 minutes. Remove the headphones from the charge case and connect to bluetooth. If the headphones are not paired together repeat the process again. After connecting open the Jabra sound app. Install the latest firmware if available.
