Description: ORIGINAL RELEASE ISSUE 2004 HARD TO FIND IN THIS CONDITION!!!ALIEN 25th ANNIVERSARY QUADRILOGY FESTIVAL JAPANESE CHIRASHI HANDBILL ©2003 20th Century Fox CHIRASHI Japanese movie chirashi are “mini-movie posters”, commonly called handbills or flyers, used to advertised movies in Japan, and are typically distributed in limited quantities inside the theaters at the time of the original theatrical release of the film in Japan. Chirashi are intricately designed with artwork, characters, and scenes from the film very similar to the images shown on the larger movie posters. What is unique about Japanese chiarashi is that much of the artwork is custom created for the Japanese movie market with a distinctive Japanese design which will often look quiet differently to the artwork in the United States and other countries...in many cases the design is superior. CHIRASHI ARE USUALLY DOUBLE SIDED AND B5 SIZE (18cm X 26cm). SOMETIMES CHIRASHI MAY HAVE TWO OR MORE PAGES. Chirashi's serve as a physical memento of the movie-going experience in Japan and are considered collectibles due to their CONDITION, RARITY, LIMITED AVAILABILITY, MOVIE POPULARITY, AESTHETIC APPEAL AND POSTER DESIGN. Movie chirashi are considered “used” the moment someone picks it up to view, and, therefore, may have general signs of handling such as edge wear, wrinkles, creases, a minute chip or unobtrusive smudges. For those reasons it is indeed rare to find a movie chirashi absent from imperfections and blemishes. However, some chirashi's are unused and remain in the bin. These unused chirashi's, if handled, protected and stored away properly, will remain highly sought after. Many unused chirashi's are very rare with the perfect ones usually graded in NM-M “used” condition. Due to their handy size and low cost they are, by far, the most popular size poster among Japanese collectors as well as movie memorabilia collector’s worldwide. This is NOT a reprint or reproduction; This is NOT an art print; This is NOT a video flyer; This is NOT one of those flyers that sellers copy over and over; [[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[ Shipped right here in the USA in a matter of just a few days instead of possibly months from overseas sellers not to mention who knows what the package will look like when you get it. ]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]This is the original first release issue chirashi handbill from the Cinema Ikspiari Theater, Chiba Prefecture that was available to movie goers whenTHE 25TH ANNIVERSARY QUADRILOGY ALIEN FESTIVAL was released in Japan April 30, 2004. This Alien Quadrilogy is a 2003 composite of Alien, Alien 2, Alien 3 and Alien Resurrection. This chirashi was very limited for the Quadrilogy, but, was made available, in limited quantities, during the venue at the time of the initial Japanese screening several years ago and is now nearly impossible to obtain. Please look closely at the photos as it shows the exact chirashi handbill you are buying. It is not restored, it is not cropped, it is not a stock image - you are receiving the exact chirashi that was available in the Japanese theaters. I would condition this chirashi as incredible for a collection...and, it would be beautiful framed! Overall solid and complete; Sharp corners and straight clean edges; No significant wrinkles or paper distortions; No creases or corner folds; No pinholes; No tears, tape or missing pieces; No marks, stains or fading; Beautiful bright, intense colors.Incredible condition! All of our Japanese Chirashi are printed in Japan and are original printings. We do not sell counterfeits or pirated goods. This is a chirashi from THE 25TH ANNIVERSARY QUADRILOGY ALIEN FESTIVAL that was released in 2004. ■ Subjective Appearance evaluation [NM-M] * See below Following evaluation guide by POSTERS FROM JAPAN B5 CHIRASI Our B5 Chirashi posters are almost always in Excellent or Near Mint condition. Where this is not the case, please see the listing for further details. Due to the fact that Chirashi are generally preserved in excellent condition, the grading scale is more strict than that usually employed for larger posters. Note: If you are buying chirashi for framing then you need not worry too much about our grading, as all of our posters have no significant defects that would be noticeable when framed. Our grading is, for the most part, chiefly for collectors who are fanatical about condition. Grade Description Mint Brand new, unused, flawless. *We don't grade any of our chirashi as Mint, as we only sell original and authentic theatre-used chirashi. By this very definition, they are 'used' and therefore cannot be Mint. Near Mint Our top grade. No visible flaws, but may show very minor signs of age, such as soft corners. Excellent/Near Mint Not quite "Near Mint", but close to it. Excellent No major flaws that detract from the poster, but may have some of the following: tiny or light corner crease, compression indentations from storage, possible minor tear boarder only, age discoloration. Most collectors would be happy with this grade. Very Good/Excellent No major flaws but has a number of minor imperfections. Very Good Has a visible defect such as a crease, or an accumulation of minor defects. Details of imperfections will be listed. This grade is still more than suitable for framing - but collectors that are fanatical about condition should wait for a better copy to come available. (Bear in mind that we reluctantly stock posters in this grade, and only when it is the best available.) Unacceptable Chirashi that show one or more readily visible flaws such as large creases, rips, tape marks, or hole punches. We do not sell chirashi in this grade.
