Description: Antique 1/6th Plate Daguerreotype Young Mother & Chubby Baby Jewelry Hand-Tinted Antique 1/6th Plate Daguerreotype Young Mother & Chubby Baby Jewelry Hand-Tinted ~3.25" x 2.75" The case reads Bogardus Greenwich Corner St. Barclay, New York These were acquired from a single owner. Most of the photos were loose in the case without paper or glue. I cleaned the top glass, blew out dust or particulates, and re-sealed them using Filmoplast P90 tape. I am not a professional archivist, but I could not bear to see them unsealed and exposed to the elements. Some of the photos have finger swipe marks and visible defects. I hope I captured them accurately in photography and with my document scanner so that I can adequately present them for your viewing.1 Thank you for your consideration and patronage.
