BATMAN #198 80 Page Giant JOKER, Catwoman COOL Silver Age DC Comic!! 1968

Description: This is a very solid copy of a silver age Batman #198 80-page Giant from 1968. It has an excellent spine staples and color. The corners are very nice with just the most slight of abrasions. What lowers its grade is that it has a lot of dirt on the front and back. I have seen a lot of copies of this book (#198) that have the same issues on the cover and in particular in the ‘BATMAN’ and I don’t know if it is from the black inks during printing or not. The back is very solid, devoid of creasing, tics or spine stress, but it does has some superficial dirt. If you clean comics, then this is a great book to have as it has a lot of potential for a high grade. The staples are fantastic and the cut is centered beautifully. On the back cover towards the bottom right on the spine, it has a small line (shown in photos) that at first I thought was from a rusty staple, but the staples on these squarebound books are located higher and more central than a regular book, and the staples are in perfect condition (photographed). So as far as grade goes, I would have to think that it is a nice upper mid grade copy F/VF (7.0) or better. You may know more and disagree, so I have included a lot of photos for you to take a look and decide for yourself it’s grade and worth, and see if you are interested! Thank you for looking!
