Crafted in solid 18K yellow gold it has a gorgeous glowing pigeon's blood red Burmese oval faceted natural ruby at its center with two glittering old rose cut diamonds either side, the three gemstones set inside carved star settings with lovely carved scrolling fleur-de-lys shoulders, the band gently graduating from front to back-just stunning! The ring has full English hallmarks with maker 'E.J.R.', the crown for gold, '18', the Chester town mark and date letter 'K' for 1910. The ring tests for 18K gold. The ring is approximately a size 7. The ring measures approximately 10mm across the stones. The ruby measure about 3.2mm x 2.7mm or about 0.13 carats, the diamonds measure about 1.6mm across. The band measures approximately 7.5mm at the front graduating down to about 2.5mm at the back. The ring rises about 2mm above the finger and weighs approximately 2.1 grams.
