Description: Here is a 1930's vintage toy made by a company called Baldwin Manufacturing Company of Brooklyn, New York. It is called the Coast Defense Gun, and it is wooden and metal. You crank the handle and it fires wooden "bullets". NO bullets with this one, and there is also a wire piece that fits on top to hold the ammunition in place which is also missing. But the rest is complete and it does function as it should. The metal legs are factory painted red (although most of the paint is gone, and some surface rust there now), and the main housing of the gun is wooden, with a metal barrel out front. Neat prewar toy that may have been made postwar as well, but I am just not that familiar with them. Photos show the toy from all 6 sides, with a yardstick in the shots for size reference. Priced to sell, with only actual USPS Ground Advantage or Priority Mail shipping charged to the winner!
