Description: New, never fully installed. Obviously someone attempted to install this unit before returning it to a local industrial retailer. The shaft has a set screw mark and is mangled at the tip. I would guess the customer needed a motor with a longer shaft. Additionally, two of the case stud rods are BROKEN off at the hex nut on the bottom. Lastly, there is some DAMAGE to the lead wires insulation at the housing. It appears the wires were crushed in storage; the brown capacitor wire is torn through and exposed the conductor. This will need to be repaired / replaced. The motor was tested to be in excellent working condition, there was only minor noise and vibration when running.
