Description: Hayashi Racing Techno R 15x7 et20 3-Piece Alloys - Fully Restored. This is a restored set of vintage Hayashi wheels removed from a BMW 2002. The wheels are 100% complete and have been fully restored. There are no center caps included in this listing. Details: Classic old school wheel made by Hayashi Racing Equipment Size = 15 x 7 Offset = 20mm Lug spacing is 4 on 100 mm. Center bore = 65mm Backspacing = 4 3/4 inches Weight = 13.2 lbsFully Restored. This included a chemical dip to remove all paint, followed verifying the wheels were true, and repairing some minor curb rash. All 4 wheels required no mechanical straightening.Each wheel was disassembled, and new hardware was purchased.The outer lips were mirror polished to a high luster shine, about as good as you will ever get out an old aluminum surface. There is some mild pitting in a few places, so please see the photos.The entire wheel center (minus the mounting pad and mounting flanges - upper) were then powdercoated with a high gloss black resin to provide a very thick and glossy durable finish without an orange peal surface texture. The center, barrel, and outer polished lip were then cleaned and prepared for assembly using new black cap head bolts and cleaned-up original nuts. The nuts were torqued to 18 ft-lbs. A band of silicone sealant was then applied to the outer circumference of the wheel sections to provide an effective seal.I have spun each wheel on a balancer and verified that it is 100% trued and straight. This is probably one of the nicest old school Hayashi wheel sets available for sale anywhere. Fits most 4x100 cars. You may want hubcentric rings to make these wheels hubcentric.
