Description: These are the beading needles for people who want to use tiny micro antique seed beads, even beads as small as 22/0 (less than 1 mm). The maker is Beadsmith, aka John James. The bead packs may have either name listed but they are the same size and quality. They are easy to thread, and will last if you are careful not to force threads through the eyes or through very thick fabrics. I use triple 0 Monocord thread with these in my beadwork, mainly antique beaded purse restoration. These are comparable to the S. Thomas and Sons English Beading Needles in size 16/0, but these don't bend as much as those do. These are made by the same company as the Beadsmith needles, and are synonymous. Good quality English beading needles. I am showing these with a very tiny size 22/0 grass green bead, see all photos for scale and size references. The beads in these pics are only 0.9 millimeters. While there are a few random beads that won't pass through the needle, this would be true even with the size 16 S. Thomas needles, too.
