Description: K Zildjian Constantinople Light Crash from 1930s (before the change from Constantinople to Istanbul) for sale. Note the imperfections in the stamp. Approximately 15" in diameter and weighs in at approximately 669 grams. Apparent impurities and out-of-roundness and slight cracks around bell hole. Unique old Zildjian sound and feel -- organic and warm sound, softer feel, flexible, and defined stick. A mid-frequency domination with highs and lows; wide clear bell. Please see photos and sound video -- the cymbal is played with a Bopworks Birdland (15 5/16", .500 diameter ultra thin) jazz stick. It has a sound and stick feel very different from my modern K's. Please ask any questions or seek more photos or video, and note that the cymbal is used and as such comes with the typical, normal wear that used cymbals have. Pictures and video are attached and are part of the description. Sold as is -- it's a cymbal aged approximately 90 years, but that's what makes it so great.
