THIS SERIES M COPY IS54-60 YEARS OLD BASED ON THE BACK COVER WHICH WAS USED BETWEEN 1964-70; IT IS IN GOOD USED CONDITION, see below. Children playing in the first snowfall of the season build a snowman. They dress him but have trouble deciding on a hat when a top hat comes rolling down the street. It is a magic top hat & the snowman comes to life. Frosty plays with the children everyday until on a warm day they go shopping & get separated. The children find his top hat & ask the police officer where Frosty has gone. He replies, "Frosty the Snow Man has gone away, Where all snowmen go on a sunny day. But he'll be back at your bidding and call,, Whenever great heaps of snowflakes fall." Marks: Name at top of title page, no tape marks or other writing on pages or covers. Tears: None Corners: Page are square with very slight bends to tips. Cover are square but tips are slightly soft with paper cover loss showing the board to three tips & white to top front. Binding: Very tight, foil is bright with some unevenness of 3 1/4" at bottom front, a small foil loss at top & bottom, front & back edges, considerable foil loss on front spine edge & spotty foil loss to back spine; top spine corner has 1/16" foil loss with a 1/8" loss to bottom + loss to spine edge corners. Cover: Front has some color loss & a tiny paper cover loss at bottom edge in groove where book bends. Back has color loss on the colored boarders & very minor color loss on the text.
