We get our Tallow from TruBeef Organic in the form of Suet which we render to Tallow. It is unbleached, unrefined, unprocessed, and not deodorized. This is important because the process of refining creates toxic byproducts (such as Polyaromatic hydrocarbons) which can cause cancer. This type of processing can strip the nutrients, enzymes, minerals, and vitamins naturally occurring in tallow and leave you with a stripped product lacking in these nutritional benefits. Many other Tallow Products do not disclose where they get their Tallow from. Many of the times, to cut costs, they use Tallow from soy and grain fed cows. We are different.
