Note: Marlin used a white spacer between the butt plate and stock as the bosses are raised on the under side for the spacer, You will need to reuse your spacer or make one I used old clorox jugs for material when I am making them for repairs that come into my shop or the bosses can be sanded down flat with the under side of plate so that back side of plate will sit flush against your stock.
