Description: you are admiring a unique custom made mr freedom jackets, that has got that true vintage 1930s look. the jacket was originally purchased from mr freedom apps 2 years ago, and was taken apart to be remade into a convincing 1930s type sports-work jacket. the jacket was fully lined [with cotton close weave material [they are not lined when purchased from mr freedom] the collar was removed and reinstalled with the corduroy facing inward, as originals were. the buttons removed and replaced with original 1930s Casin colt buttons on the outside, and 1920s bone buttons on the inside. the side buckles are original 1930s Art Deco buckles installed to replace the buckles that came on the jacket. an original 1930s the jacket shows minimal surface wear. on the hides. the inside is flawless. I was able to source an original 1930s mcgregor sportswear label that was applied to the back near the collar. the jacket is tagged a size 42, and fits as such. however, before considering purchasing this unique piece, please read the measurements submitted. laid flat, arm pit to arm pit: 21 5/8". front length: 21 1/4". sleeves, as measured from the shoulder seam to the end of the cuff: 24 1/4". turned over and laid flat, the back length as measured from the collar seam to the bottom of the back: 23 1/2". shoulder seam to shoulder seam at the top back: 18 1/4". this is a vintage fit, not an oversized mall jacket fit. in conclusion, this jacket is truly unique, and has all of the halll marks of a true 1930s jacket that is every day wearable.of note: I ship on Thursdays and Fridays.
