Description: Description YAMAHA / FSX5 Vintage Natural (VN) [S/N: IIY245A] An acoustic guitar equipped with a newly developed pickup system! ○Combining the aesthetics of the 1960s with skilled techniques honed over more than 50 years ○Equipped with the newly developed "Atmosfeel" pickup system ○Line out the airy feel and natural sound of an acoustic guitar as it is ○Yamaha's original folk body shape provides high playability for players who prefer small bodies. The well-defined, full sound is ideal for responsive chord strokes and fingerpicking. ○The newly developed scalloped bracing delivers a warm, powerful sound with deep bass and rich overtones. ○The top is made of solid sitka spruce with A.R.E. A mature sound that sounds like it's been played for years ○ Fingerboard, bridge, and bridge pins are ebony ○ Made in Japan model made by skilled technicians ○ Comes with a dedicated hard case The original head shape of the Yamaha FG features a logo that resembles a tuning fork. The truss rod cover is engraved with "Since 1966", which indicates the origin of Yamaha guitars. The top is made of solid sitka spruce with A.R.E. treatment. Although it is new, it has a rich sound as if it has been played for many years, and a powerful sound with the warm mid-low range unique to mahogany. The cohesive sound is ideal for chord strokes or rhythmic fingerstyle playing. Solid mahogany is used for the sides and back. It achieves the warm and rich mid-range unique to mahogany. <Bone-made nut and bridge> Bone (#5 grade only) is used for the nut and bridge. Bone is very hard, and it transmits sound more effectively from the strings to the neck and body. High skill is required to attach and adjust the bone nut, and each guitar is carefully made by skilled guitar craftsmen in Japan. <Newly developed scalloped bracing> In order to achieve the ideal warm tone, we have made repeated improvements by combining mock prototypes using the latest acoustic analysis simulation technology and prototypes made by woodworking. The scalloped bracing used in the FG/FS#800 series has been optimized to suit the characteristics of the wood itself and the same type of FG and FS, achieving further expansion of the low range. <A.R.E. (Acoustic Resonance Enhancement) processing> The top plate is treated with Yamaha's unique Acoustic Resonance Enhancement (A.R.E.). By controlling temperature, humidity, and air pressure with high precision, changes similar to those that occur over a long period of time after sawing are produced in a short period of time, improving sound transmission and vibration efficiency, promoting the extension of mid-low range components, and increasing the rise and decay speed of high range components. A.R.E. processing produces a well-balanced, mature, warm sound with few harsh overtones, creating a sound like a guitar that has been played for years. The newly developed Atmosfeel 3-way pickup system reliably captures each range with an under-saddle piezo sensor for mid-low range, a microphone mounted on the preamp for low range, and a proprietary very thin contact sensor for high range. By adding a contact sensor made of thin and durable piezoelectric synthetic paper to the inside (near the back of the bridge), it reproduces the string vibration coming out of the sound hole that conventional pickups could not pick up, the reverberation of each string, the touch when fingering, and the airiness and delicate sound brought by the harmonic components of the high range. It outputs the line out as it is when playing an acoustic guitar with live sound. The controller section of "Atmosfeel" allows you to easily create sounds by mixing each pickup with very simple operations. Adjust the delicate tone expression with the master volume knob and add a sense of box resonance with the microphone blend knob. The Bass EQ controller allows you to adjust the peak EQ. For guitarists who need to cut the low range in a band arrangement, or fingerstyle players who want the low range to be supported, you can adjust the center frequency band to create a sound with confidence.
