NS-LEPE 2021 Series New BEP $1 100 Bills Uncirculated Consecutive Numbers

Description: The price of one strap is $179.00 which includes 100 bills. Two packs bill would be considered two separate sales OF 100 NOTES EACH. These are the ns-LEPE new straps from BEP of printing, these happen to be sequential starting with 304, and ending in 403. The BEP strap band has no mention of star notes. I received the last 5 of these straps from the brick, some of the straps were a couple million off on the serial numbers between packs that came in the break, and the only thing they had in common was the last three digits in the back plate number. between packs that came in the break in the last three numbers starting at 304. From what I read going forward it'll be a bit tougher put a strap together that starts with 01 and ends with 00 let alone two consecutive packs. LEPE represents the newest generation in numbering and processing equipment for BEP. In February 2014, BEP ushered in a new era by printing currency on 50-subject sheets versus 32 notes per sheet. Sitting at 144 feet long, these mammoth machines are state-of-the-art, specifically designed for BEP, combining multiple currency production processes at once: full sheet examination, letterpress printing functions, product verification, and cutting and packaging currency. Currently, only $1 and $5 notes are produced in 50-subject sheet format. The $20 note is next in line for transition into the larger format and is scheduled to be in production by summer 2022. The new equipment will operate in a manner that will result in nonconsecutive sequencing of new straps of notes. Even more significant from a collector?s standpoint, the new equipment will not produce the star notes that replace imperfect notes in a strap of newly printed notes. Star notes will continue to be produced by traditional banknote production equipment until further notice. The new printing process means that future serial number patterns in a strap may contain gaps and will no longer be in consecutive sequence. The first note in a non-sequential strap is not expected to have a serial number ending in ?01? and the last is not expected to have a serial number ending in ?00.? The transition period for the new printing process will last several years and will be phased in by denomination, starting this year. Only the $1 denomination is currently in production. FedCash Services says non-sequential straps of the $1 note will be available based on local inventories and distribution schedules and that until the new printing process transition has ended, sequential and non-sequential straps will coexist in deliveries. NS-LEPE note packaging and labeling will be indistinguishable from sequential note packaging.
