Patco 5560 is highly conformable; abrasion, moisture and solvent resistant; and removes cleanly and easily. This tape offers moderate tack which allows it to stay adhered during a shipping process, yet since it offers low adhesion (slightly less than that of a blue painters tape) it should still remove cleanly. Please note Patco 5560 is the same product as Patco 5540 - the different numbers were used to help Patco differentiate between the auto glass retention market (5540) and the general surface protection market (5560). Also note that this product is not a static-cling-only type tape like the discontinued 3M 2112C was. Also this tape is not crystal clear like a book repair tape; it is more transparent to translucent and is designed so end users can easily identify the tape in order to remove it. Made in the U.S. NOTES: Sizes shipped will typically be the tape industry standard metric-cut sizes, i.e. 24mm for each 1 inch of nominal tape width ordered (rolls are approximately 5% narrower than the nominal size). This product's actual size is 12mm x 33m. This tape is typically cut to width from log rolls so most sizes ship on non-branded plain white cores.
