Pfaltzgraff Village 5" 6 Ounce Stemware Amazing Color Change Glass 4 Glass Set

Description: These little glasses have a hidden feature that I didnt know of until I was walking past the window in the dining room with one, the avocado-ish color changes to an amethyst color in the natural light. I took pictures in various lights inside and outside of the house but nothing showed thru! What a bummer because in reading some of the other listings, no one else has happened upon this feature! I even called in my husband to see if he saw it and he said yes it did turn color in the natural light. Anyway, this set contains 4 of the 10 I purchased this week. All of these look pretty good and have no chips or cracks. They do have some dishwasher damage. Often dishwashers leave a hardwater film on things. I cleaned them all with industrial strength vinegar but these still have some of the film on the bottoms and in the etching. One cool feature I have found is the design is etched into the glass. Truly etched, not an applied sticker. Many of them also have Pfaltzgraff etched in the bottom as well. This design is so popular and was originally offered from 1975-1996. But because it was so loved, Pfaltzgraff brought it back again from 2004-2020. Nothing says 1970's or early 80's like this pattern and it's tan color. It was however offered in blue but I havent seen any of those items, perhaps, they werent as well loved.
