Description: Item TitleRare Us Stereo Promo About The Blues Julie LondonDescriptionThis is a very rare US original stereo vinyl record of jazz diva Julie London's About The Blues.This is the 1st pressing with a true black label (later pressings in the 60's were rainbow) and also has a very rare Promosional Not For Sale stamp on the back.Stereo records started in the late 1950s and this is from 1957 so this is the very same era.She is an actress with good looks and a singer with a good voice.This album is a masterpiece of sexy blues singing to a big band.Her debut album is also popular but this is a masterpiece of Julie London's sexiness and is surprisingly hard to find.The jacket has some age-appropriate soiling but the surfaces are quite clean for something over 60 years old.The disc shows some initial scuffing but is overall very clean with very little popping noise in our environment.Even if you are not used to listening to used records on a regular basis this is not a problem.It is played by a big band so you will hardly notice it.(We didn't find any noise either as far as we listened).
