Rare Yellow Vintage Hall Pitcher WITH LID Refrigerator Ceramic 5085 Art Deco MCM

Description: Striking vintage Hall 2-qt ceramic pitcher, accented by a fantastic streamlined deco, mid-century modern design. This subdued yellow color is rare! Would look especially great as a highlight color in kitchens or dining rooms that have gray or blue color schemes. Very good condition. There are no chips, crazing or cracks, only some dark markings on the base where there is not glaze. Please see photos for condition and read condition description for details. This pitcher is comfortable to hold and pours without issues. (I tested it while measuring the volume.) The Hall China Company (of East Liverpool, Ohio) originally made water pitchers like this in the 30's/40's when refigerators were new to the mass public. Hall designed exclusive refrigerator and this style was one of them. Since this one is not marked Westinghouse, like many were, I am not sure of the actual year of manufacture. I do know it is hard to find this lidded yellow one. This may be the Aristocrat model. Many like this were manufactured in the late 30's.Depending on the light and the background this pitcher is a subdued yellow, but in some light appears a bit brighter.
