Sigma EM-140 DG TTL Macro Ringlight Flash for Nikon DSLR Not Working Damage READ

Description: This is a Sigma EM-140 DG Ringlight Macro Flash. Fits Nikon Digital DSLR bodies. From a local estate. Not working. Has issues. Read details below before bidding. Cosmetics-The outside is clean overall with some general wear. The display has some rubbing wear and scratches. The battery compartment additionally has former leakage residue and the contacts have heavy corrosion. See photos. I was able to get them clean enough to get this to power up but they still have a tough time making proper contact. Operationally it will power up but drains batteries super fast. Like in seconds it takes them down to the point where it struggles to operate. Initially the red ready light did come on and fired via the test button. So it has some life but am not sure what is wrong with it ?? See lots of photos of what you are getting. Sold AS IS. Includes the flash seen above. No ring adapter or other items.
