Striking flame veneers, on the top, front and sides. The top drawer is detailed with beautifully executed inlay in a Greek Key pattern, which is continued on either side. There are tapered pilasters on either side of the drawers, with polished brass caryatids (sculpted female figure serving as an architectural support). Massive carved paw feet support the chest on all four corners. Working locks on all three drawers, and the chest comes with the original key. The drawers are dovetailed on all four corners. Labeled on the backside of the case. We do have two of these pieces and are selling them in separate listings. Please note these are very heavy pieces. (1) In exceptional condition. Immaculate inside and out - heavy and beautifully made. A few light scuffs and some minor varnish craquleture to the top, otherwise, Mint. No nicks, dings, wear or repairs.
