Alongside her future husband, actor-producer Douglas Fairbanks, Pickford founded Pickford–Fairbanks Studios and United Artists, and was one of the 36 founders of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. During her prime, Pickford was considered to be one of the most recognizable women in the world. Sheldon used these photos to create hand-drawn illustrations for magazines and shoe, hosiery, clothing and lingerie companies. The print measures 5" x 7" and is in very good condition with edge and corner wear and slight creasing. Verso is blank.
