One button has the chain and the other does not – so you chain them together – for cloak closures or uniform? They are heavy darkened silver or pewter color (not pewter) metal – look unused because chains are still attached to only one button– Excellent clean condition.NOTE: Buttons are all the same color - ignore shadows please.
