Description: You are bidding on a rare premium quality original 1950's vintage chrome DC-6 Airplane advertising ashtray, marked: SWISSAIR - BUHLER - 6491 - MADE IN SWITZERLAND - This gorgeous desk top decorative airplane sculpture ashtray has a complete highly polished chrome mirror finish on the topside and a plain aluminum finish underneath with a ball joint moveable airplane on the pedestal of a clamshell shaped ashtray. This was the one of last of the four prop airplanes before they went to jet engines in the 1960's. This approx. 65 year old airplane sculpture ashtray is in pretty good cosmetical condition however important to mention the following:2 out of the 4 propellers are missing 1 blade The Ball mount for some reason presents rests of glue around it I am selling other great items.
