Dated MCMXXXIII (1933) RKO General Inc. AHI No. 6218 Made in Hong Kong on the back of the rubber King Kong figure. A very hard to find version of this figure. There is a circular crack in the back just above the “General” that is more noticeable when pushed upward on this area when handling. Made of a rubber material and has some melt marks in the rubber from coming in contact with other figures when stored away for years. Has the opening in the hand to hold a figure. Figure that is shown and included is newer and not original although fit in the opening and went well with the theme. Figure is a hard ceramic type material with the clear glue residue as shown in close up photos. Please do not purchase if any of this is a concern for you. Due to weight of upper body and design on the underside of feet and rubbery legs, very difficult to stand freely and will need some propping up/support when displaying.The other item is dated 1972 Inpro Pteranodon Hong Kong markings. Went well with theme and era when Kong was fighting off pre-historic creatures in his habitat from the scenes of the original movies 1933/1976. Made of plastic material with the painted features.
