Description: Vintage Set 5 Ceramic Garden Jars Canister Set w Lids - Vincent Cadeaux - What's Set of five vintage 70's/80's square "Garden Jars" with lids - The original label is on the bottom of the large jar. The set features 5 Jars with 4 different colorful garden designs in a French Country Style. The graphics are beautifully detailed and a different one is featured on each of the four sides of the square canisters. You can rotate the sides to show all of them with the same matching image, or a different graphic on each jar shown in the photos. Company history: "What's" Vincent Cadeaux" - This French designer created ceramic items in the 70's and 80's - the work includes lamps, garden jars, duck egg trays and asparagus dishes and drainers. Approx Measurements of each jar (largest to smallest) - Note: the height measurement includes the lid with top handle/knob6.5" tall and 4"x4" square at base6" tall and 3.5"x3.5" square at base5.5" tall and 3.25"x3.25" square at base5" tall and 3"x3" square at base4.5" tall and 2.25"x2.5" square at base Condition: The canisters and lids are in lovely condition, particularly for it's age. I checked all pieces to look for any cracks, damage, etc, and found a edge inside lid area that appears smoother (a possible restoration?) - see photo of close-up view, it's shown on one side of the inner/underside of the largest lid where it fits inside the jar, while not easily noticeable, I always point such things out. Please view all photos in "Close-up" view for best detail. Also noting the designer incorporated a faux "crazing" pattern on the lids to simulate an aged/antique look.
