Description: Vintage Clyde Beatty-Cole Bros. Combined Circus window card poster. Not sure what year, Clyde Beatty joined forces with Cole Bros as an owner in 1957, but I think this may be mid 1960-s to early 1970s, not sure. This was for two performances at the Kankakee (IL) fairgrounds for Monday Aug 17. IT features a happy clown in colors of white/red/yellow/black on a blue background, and colors are very bright. Measures just over 14" wide by 22" tall. It has some minor discoloration on the white border, and minor surface wear on the poster. There is something written very tiny in the lower left corner on the yellow, but I can't tell what it is - might be 64 but the 4 looks more like a y. There is a small piece of tape on one corner on the back - I didn't want to remove it as it might peel the paper (there is a mark on the other corner on the back where tape was removed). One corner is creased. It is on cardboard/card stock. On the back you can see the clown and the circle with "The World's Largest Circus" backwards in red. It looks good and would frame well. This poster came from the purchase of all the remaining original Cole Circus items, from the family. Please see scans. It will ship flat.
