Description: WWII Era German U-Boat Ace Alfred Eick Knights Cross Signed Photo Alfred Eick (9 March 1916 – 12 April 2015) was a U-510 German U-Boat commander for Nazi Germany during WWII. He commanded the attacks on at least eleven ships between 1943 and 1945. He was given the Knights Cross of the Iron Cross. He had the distinction of sinking the last ship sunk by the German Navy, when he sunk the Canadian freighter “Point Pleasant Park” in February 1945.
